Quick Opening Closures

The Bandlock™ 2 closure is designed to be inherently safe. It is not possible to open the closure if there is still any pressure in the vessel.

More than 90% of pig launchers and receivers, offshore and onshore in Norway depend upon the Bandlock™ 2 closure for safe, quick, reliable access for pigging the major oil and gas pipelines over thousands of kilometres between Norway and the continent. Many of our closures have been operating reliably for more than 25 years requiring minimum maintenance to provide a long service life.

They are also used for hydrocyclone and filter vessels where quick access is important.
