Multiple Pig Launchers

Tech Trade recently received a contract from a major engineering company to deliver a multiple pig launcher. The pig launcher will be used on an unmanned platform to deploy 5 cleaning pigs over a period of time without the need for operator intervention.

The key to reliable multiple pig launching is the PSB mechanism, a patented product manufactured by SPX Flow. The PSB has been used on multiple pig launchers both subsea and topsides with more than 15-years operating experience in the field. It ensures that individual pigs are launched one at a time.
